Considering a job offer
Eureka! You have been successful and passed the selection stages; an offer of employment has arrived. Is it as simple as saying, “thank you” and planning the move? It might well be, if this is the job of your dreams and the remuneration is acceptable, or better. Do you just sign to accept or are there still questions you need to answer?
- What if you are still waiting for a decision regarding another job that you would prefer?
- Perhaps it’s a good job, but are the values of the organisation compatible with yours?
- Can you negotiate the base salary? Can the terms and conditions be varied? What are the variables upon which any bonus is paid?
Considering a job offer
